Well what can I say about Mark at Inertia Counselling Services? I was experiencing various mental health problems and I researched many counsellors around Plymouth to see who could help. I visited Mark sometime last year and we began to decipher some of the root causes of my problems and what we could do to address them head on.

After my first session, it was like a breath of fresh air! I began to feel more at peace as the sessions progressed and Mark is always ready to offer working strategies that cater to everyday life. I have been seeing Mark for the last 12 months so I can certainly attest to his counselling services.

I would highly recommend Mark to anyone who is currently experiencing any issues regarding their mental health. Mark is very friendly and very easy going and nothing is too much of a problem for him. He is a good listener and together we can talk through any problems. Don’t be afraid to contact Mark and never suffer in silence.

I am truly grateful for your immense support and guidance during challenging times. Mark Jeffery has made a significant difference in the way I look at life when something goes wrong. I’ve learned how to stand up for myself when I fall, even in the toughest moments. In the beginning, I needed help with almost everything, but now I feel confident speaking up, understanding what to do in difficult situations, and handling them in the right way. Our family of two adults and one teenager have been having useful sessions with Mark individually or as a group for a few months. Mark helped everyone to understand themself better, manage different challenges, make useful changes that lead to improved communication and / or attitude. I came to use mark's counsellings services at the worse time of my life, I was going through a horrendous separation with lead to me going through family court. Mark was my life line, he was there every step of the way to help me process what was happening around me, help me understand what services were communicating to me and how I could effectively communicate back to them even when I didn't want to talk. Not only that but give me coping strategies to help me through the stress.
Mark was truly and completely amazing at what was a traumatic experience. I cant praise, thank him enough for what he did for me during that period because I what have found it challenging doing it on my own.

I wish I’d met Mark far, far sooner. A great counsellor and a wonderful human. He created a very safe environment, enabling me to unpack a lot. When Mark talks, it’s very much what you need to hear, not just you want to. To anyone going through a bit, I’d suggest you do yourself a kindness and go and talk to him. I have been having on-line weekly sessions with Mark after Depression and  PTSD got the better of me.
Mark has absolutely fantastic with me, he listens and then gives answers that have guided me and brought me slowly back to the person I used to be.
In the past I have tried so many therapists who were stunningly useless.
Since meeting with Mark my life has made a 180° turn facing now after years of depression the right way.
I am still seeing Mark so he can help me further.
For me, Mark has been sent from Heaven and I am so grateful for him.

It took me a long time to reach out for help, but I’m so grateful that when I finally did, it was Mark Jeffery I spoke to. From our very first conversation, Mark created a safe and supportive space that allowed me to open up about what I was going through. He listened without judgment and gave me practical tools and techniques that helped me navigate some of the darkest days of my life.

Now, a few months on, I still have my struggles—but thanks to what Mark taught me, I’m managing them in healthier ways and feel more in control of my life.
